Personal Trainer Review

FAQ's

Q: Does it cost me anything to find one using PersonalTrainerReview.com?
A: Our site is absolutely FREE to those searching for a trainer. There are NO hidden fees. So feel free to start your search!

Q: Are there any real differences between one personal trainer vs. another?
A: Absolutely. Personal trainers possess different certifications, may specialize in areas of interest to you (i.e., knee injuries, senior citizens, etc.), might have a philosophy that appeals to you over someone else’s and more. Once you start using this site and reading the profiles of the featured trainers, you will see that there is indeed a difference. And those differences will help you choose who is right for you!

Q: Do I have to belong to a gym in order to work with a personal trainer?
A: Not always. Many fitness facilities allow personal trainers to work with their non-member clients there. Sometimes a small fee is involved. Ask the trainer(s) you are interested in for details as to how they can work with you at the particular club(s) they may be affiliated with.

Q: Can I use this site to get information at the trainers available at the gym I belong to?
A: Yes. We include profiles of trainers working out of the popular chain gyms. You can add the facility name and location to your search criteria, learn what these trainers have to offer and read any reviews posted.

Q: How does your rating system work?
A:  The PTR ratings system is indicated in 1 to 5 dumbbells, with 1 being the lowest rating and 5, the highest.  There are 3 separate rating areas that are averaged to determine the overall score, they are: 1. Professionalism, 2. Responsibility, and 3. Knowledge.

Q: Does PTR endorse the trainers on their site?
A: PTR does not endorse any particular trainer or articles on this site and provides the content for informational purposes only, to furnish you with details about trainers in your area.  Only you can determine who and what is best for you.
